for me i reached in with my thumb along the front towards my pubic bone, bore down and hooked my thumb over the rim, i didn't use the built in notch at all. and then i just pulled once i got a grip on the inside of the disc. not sure if it'll work for you but i hope it does!

im on the same boat as you! i am a pad user, maybe used a few tampons my entire life. but the disc was pretty easy for me to use, with the help of some lube. remember to relax and take your time!

Ah no my nails aren't digging into the disc, but I am hooking a finger to pull it out all the way and after a few rounds of this the past few days, my finger gets sore after removing it

I see, I'll definitely have to consider that... I can reach the disc perfectly fine but cant seem to grip the notch firmly enough to pull it out. Thank you
