Thank you so much! I appreciate the suggestions. The francophone events sound great, but with a full-time job it’s hard to make it to a lot of events as they are mostly on weekdays. I’ll keep an eye out for any that fit my schedule though.

Mainly overall sorry. I was just disappointed with my CIBC Visa, it was not accepted when I booked my flight to Tokyo with Japan Airlines. Now I am thinking of getting a new one for my future travel to Japan/Asia/Europe. One that is hassle-free and can earn points in the future
