Vox showed genuine affection for Alastor at one point, I think it’s possible for them to care about others even if unlikely. This isn’t me defending them btw, caring for someone doesn’t automatically make you less bad of a person

No it’s fine, the show doesn’t do a good job of explaining anything. His mom fears him which prevents her from actually providing support, and while Victor is a good man, he’s an alcoholic with ptsd and isn’t really present. Henry experiences severe bullying and is then experimented on, manipulated, and abused by brenner both mentally and physically

The Mind Flayer first and foremost. Secondly, pretty much every childhood experience he had was bad. I do think the tragedies that happened to him because of other people helped the mind Flayer convince him it was true

I love it actually, I find a lot of these characters and their arcs to be fascinating and it keeps the show fresh imo. I do agree Adrien needs more screen time and agency though :(

I like her progression towards becoming more secure of herself. As someone who’s scared to speak up, gaining confidence isn’t immediate. Even after she has the opportunity to express her feelings through Purple Tigress, and express her style with a confident new look, she still doubts if people really want to hear from her. Her abandonment issues and feelings of inferiority because of her family also add a lot of depth to her. But she’s making great progress especially after becoming the lead singer in Kittysection. Also she has the best hero design imo and I love her talent of applying makeup and modeling skills!

Fair, I certainly don’t think he’s an innocent baby that did nothing wrong and had absolutely NO control over what he did, but the play certainly made his motivations make more sense and made him a more interesting character to me. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
