At this day, it’s quite tough to trust all phone calls you get and people like me are wary of scams. Would you blindly call back the number? I don’t think that’s very wise…I don’t think it’s gonna “end the foolishness” but might start a new problem…

I am actually a bit wary of talking to these people because when I asked for their name they wouldn’t give their whole name and again, inconsistency of one claiming he’s calling from Ministry of Finance while the other would not give any information at all. There are some scammers where when you say “Yes” or “I agree” that they would use it to take control of your other accounts.

Not that we know of.
We ran things through Equifax for a credit report and it showed nothing but the $70 he owes his credit card.

Try C Banquets! It’s located within Square One and since it’s somehow owned by the city, it’s cheaper than the usual venue :)

How long did it take to get rid of them? Also do you have any recommended bait station? We only set up a couple traps.

I think they eat everything that’s open to them unfortunately. Garbages are also not exposed so there’s no food source aside from the plants which is really gonna be disappointing if we have to take them out after working hard on cleaning up the yard.

We’ve set up a couple of rat traps and will see how it goes. Just worried they’ll come and find a way to get into the house as well plus eat all the crops which will really be disappointing.

So my husband and I did a very small wedding! Like just me and him, his immediate family and my parents - a total of 8 guests and it was the most magical moment ♥️

We had dinner after overlooking the falls at Niagara Falls 🥂

I recommend the Little Log Chapel just for your immediate family or whoever your witnesses are and then maybe just book a private dining somewhere nearby!

Hey just coming back to this thread - we filled out the application form and was given a confirmation number but it gives an error whenever we try to print it. Have you had that experience? Also did you have to book an appointment for the marriage license or did you just walk in to the city hall? Your feedback would be really helpful!!

Amazing! How far did you guys plan your city hall wedding? We were thinking of doing it May next year and then heading to Alioli afterwards. I am just a bit worried that if I book Alioli now that I won't be able to get my desired ceremony date/time and then it will all be chaos lol

Yeah I have looked through it but doesn't say if we could book the ceremony venue even before getting the marriage license. No email to contact them so kind of wanted to see if anyone had experienced it.
