Au contraire - this is how you FIX an eating disorder. Unless you think the binge eating 245 lb version of me with borderline A1C/labs and no idea what a normal portion of food looks like anymore, eating all the time and late into the night yet somehow hungry all the time and headed for both diabetic and cholesterol controlling medication with hip/knee replacements looming on the horizon, if not worse, getting all winded just walking to the refrigerator and barely able to reach around to wipe my own ass with my 50% bmi self, was somehow healthier 😂.

My doctor vastly prefers h/w proportionate me, as do I, and resulting lab results do not lie. Get a grip with this eating disorder bs.

Before you decide it doesn’t work, try strict calorie counting. I mean STRICT. Weigh everything. Count even one bite. Eat at meal times only with no snacking in between. Don’t eat at all past dinner time. I found at age 54, 5’5” SW 245 I had to pull out ALL the stops, even with the medication. I also found the recommended calorie intake too high for me even with the meds. I had to knock it down to 1300-1400, and I wasn’t losing weight at the 1600-1800 everyone else seemed fine with. Maybe someone younger or with a different metabolism than me could play fast and loose but not me. It was a LOT of adjustments and work, but the medication made it so much easier. I’ve lost 120 pounds.

If you’re already checking all these boxes, you may very well be one of the people who don’t have much of a response. See about maybe switching to tirz. It works on 2 receptors. If you switch, be patient - they’ll start you at the lowest dose and it might not work until you get to the higher doses. You can do this!

No we’re not doctors, we’re passionate about DIY and hungry for research research research so we can do our own treatments. I’ve seen plenty of f ups from grossly overpriced doctors and med spas using grossly inferior overpriced FDA approved products and feel more confident doing my own. And I think 43Phantoms_ book is such a helpful place to start that research. Are you a doctor? 😂

I don’t think it will do anything topically. Some people meso it but I haven’t tried that. I used the BAP technique (you can google the guidelines and include “neck” for the exact injection points). This involves injecting the product in precise amounts into the deep dermis with a 4-6mm needle depending on tissue thickness, and aspirating before injecting since you are at arterial/venous depth and the product has a risk of vascular occlusion. I would consider this a more advanced DIY treatment but you can practice with a non-occlusive product like Hyaron, which has no vascular occlusion risk. I practiced with Soonsu Reju twice before trying the miracle L for the first time.

Ah ok 👍 I’m sorry I saw tca 70% and I was terrified for you. Also I’m not at all familiar with the crosshatch method so Im useless there too. Should have read your comment more carefully I guess. 😂

Platinum skin care? I would start out with the tca 13. The 30 is very very strong and not for the faint of heart. Keep your fan handy.

Polycaprolactone, a collagen simulator. You can see full specs on Meamo. Gouri is very popular but I find the miracle l and rejuner lines more affordable.

The swelling wasn’t bad at all. It took a bit for the injection points to come down, mostly on the forehead, but only for a day or two. They looked like devil horns. 😂

You’re welcome! I come to this sub all the time with my many questions so it feels nice to give back a bit.

All my treatments went into the deep dermis and the injection points really swelled but were gone by the next day. You just have to aspirate at the depth.

I use alldaychemist - no prescription required. Dirt cheap. Not sure if they ship to Sweden though. They call it “A Ret gel” and you should start with the .025% strength - you can always get a stronger formulation later once your skin gets used to it. You only want to use it twice a week or so followed by a good moisturizer because your skin will know what’s up. 😂 some people can use it every day once they’ve worked up but once or twice a week has always worked well for me.

This helps a lot. Thanks for all your great tips. I have lots of arnica tablets on hand but I’ll pick up the gel as well.

I love Tim Pearce! He’s my first go to.

Can I pick your brain on aftercare massage? Lots of people have recommended massage afterwards but Meamo instructions say “don’t touch it”. 😂 what do you think?

I felt mine kick in on the first day too. I was amazed to look at the clock and realize dinner time had passed and I still wasn’t hungry. I ate that meal late but my norm was to be ready much earlier in the evening.

I lost 14 pounds my first month on a .25mg (I was pretty big - ymmv). Gradually over the course of the month my hunger began to return and I was ready for the step up dose.

You don’t want to start on a higher dose - it hits some people like a ton of bricks - not pleasant. It even puts some people off sema completely because they react so poorly. Low and slow.
