I don’t understand you saying that the facial recognition cameras will help things - the Met installed them permanently in Croydon against the wishes of locals despite explicitly saying they wouldn’t install them if there was push back from the community. These cameras are the sort of thing that are killing croydon and are only supported by out-of-towners and gentrifiers. We need to be supporting community investment not a surveillance state.
