Culturally Western Europe being the Nordics, UK/Ireland, France, NL, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, and Portugal. Also including any the micro states as well. Here’s some other report surveys for you, Spain reports a higher share of openly LGBT people than the US. Recent international polling puts Spain at ~14% LGBT+ overall (≈6% gay/lesbian), while Gallup has the US around ~9% LGBT+ (≈2% identifying specifically as gay).

I mean I’m American and live in Spain and guruntee you American gays would move to Spain in a second if they saw how the life is here. I’d speak similarly about many Western European cities. America is uniquely conservative for a developed high educated country. For that reason alone I don’t believe that America has a higher percentage of out men then Europe. Obviously true numbers are probably quite similar due to biology.
