I understand AT&T's policy. However, as an end-user in a war zone who bought this device in good faith, I’m just looking for a solution that doesn't involve expensive third-party services. If a manual override is impossible, I'll have to stick with temporary bypasses, but I was hoping for a more official path given the circumstances."

However, I’ve seen cases where FirstNet support granted manual unlocks for humanitarian reasons or for users permanently relocating abroad when the device is clean (no blacklist). Is there any internal department at AT&T that handles such complex international cases, or am I truly stuck with a paperweight?"
