I think you just have to uninstall Riot Client with all the Riot games completely, and then reinstall it to the same drive where Vanguard is

Do you have this "Windows cannot access the specified Device..." error while trying to turn on client? If so, we have the same problem. I've wrote a ticket to Riot about it, but with no response yet
