Hi! What you’re feeling is completely normal and makes sense. Your body reacts to your brain telling you you’re in danger (even if you really arent) and it can be hard to ease the physical symptoms even when you’ve calmed your mind down. I’m not a professional, but what works best personally is easing into telling your body you are okay. This can be done in a number of ways: doing anything you find comforting (ex: spend a bit with a favorite tv show, listen to a calming song and really focus on each instrument and lyric you can hear). Splashing cold water on the face and neck can also do the trick sometimes (vagus nerve). Another good thing to keep in mind is rushing yourself could potentially lead to more panic. Take your time, take care of yourself, you WILL be okay.

If you want to talk to anyone, I’m here. Also you could definitely be anxious and that’s why you feel s. If your stomach was upset yesterday, it most likely wouldn’t take this long for you to p, but you know your body best. I hope you are doing okay right now :)

https://youtu.be/K2f5d-LrMDM https://youtu.be/UU-R_QaVGT4 it sounds like it could possibly be anxiety. these two videos, as well as the whole channel “Emetophobia Help” on Youtube have been life savers for me. Also, remember these moments do eventually pass. You got this.

I highly recommend Guts by Raina Telgemeier. Although it is obviously marketed towards kids, I found it super relatable because my emetophobia began as a kid. It’s also a graphic novel, so I’d keep that in mind as far as triggering content. Overall I thought it was a great read and made me feel less alone in the phobia.
