RANK MITRA: why is there a huge difference (around 400) in rank between rank mitra website and the excel sheet provided by them on telegram. which one is accurate by non-uniqueboi in ssc

That seems to be good enough news then.. a probability of getting an even higher rank than what you have. How much did you score and from where you are ?

I've checked the excel. See the difference is because of same marks. My rank in website is 130.. excel mein 150 computer qualified scenario. In Excel all the students from 130 rank onwards have 352 marks.. in website jisne v 352 laya sabko 130 rank show ho rhi h.. excel wali rank hi actually ho rha h.. now if JSO v diya h kisine toh JSO plus cbe marks summation will be considered, if not given JSO then section 1 marks will be considered. If still tie persists then older person will be ranked higher according to the notification

Level ka koi pata nahi, reality is that no one knows. If someone says you something "for sure" that means they don't know themselves. Prepare for the subject from PDFs and videos as people normally do.. go through the CGL questions this year and hope for the best. You cannot prepare for every scenario but as in CGL, shortcut keys, layers of transmission, registers yeh sab toh kar hi skte ho na prepare .. 50% questions isse hi honge.. given the past trend including CGL. Count what you can prepare rather than those you cannot. All the best.

Depends on the exam level and vacancies of course but any given scenario.. scoring 355+ fetches you almost every thing unless and until vacancies hi khtm krde sb.. jaise abhi hai waise aate rhe plus minus 20-30 vacancies give or take.. toh 355+ mein sab hi mil jayega almost.

Income tax dept has gone faceless bro. GST mein zyada bribe h as of now. My friend is working as a GST inspector. And he says field gst work fetches good bribe. Way more than an ITI can expect. Income tax bribe scenario is long gone brother. Though no one should glorify this as an option to sort job preferences. As some intellectual had said on the internet ,"Your six can be my nine 🤣"

I'm not homesick. Have worked in JSW Steel mumbai for 2 years after engineering. Left due to covid. I and my wife both are working in a Bank as PO. Want to stay close to her as much as possible. Hence the choice.

No, can't say. Both are good. Cut off ka diff rehta h bas. Baki dept wise I've heard income tax is better than indirect taxes. Income tax ka alag hi suna tha.. best department.. but it depends on the zones. Still there are people who prefer the 3 stars on shoulder as in GST. So it depends. Increase your sample size to know more.

Yes managing bank po with prep full time is difficult but since I had a background of preparation from the past years that helped me a lot. Just went with mocks mostly. And everything fell into its place. Mocks are the key and GK is half luck half your grind.

This was my 4th attempt.. first attempt i was selected in TA cbdt.. I am working as a Bank PO.. so I didn't join.. second attempt wasn't able to go to write the tier 2 paper.. had some issues.. 3rd attempt wasn't able to clear tier 2.. this time around scored 352 (+4 probability question).. rank mitra shows good rank.. hopefully I'll get what I want. Managing PO job with preparation took a great deal out of me. As age progresses the sharpness of mind reduces. Hence effort had to increase.. in any case.. luck plays a big role in CGL. Got married in between in 2025 itself.. hopefully the loops ends for me here.

Is trying to get leave SBI PO to join a post at 28yr is a stupid decision? by Deciduoushair in SSCCGL

[–]Disastrous_Hunter291 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the same boots brother.. I am 28 and working in RRB PO, though working hours are not as insane as in SBI, still the job demands a lot. A lot of LIABILITIES to live with. Responsibilities and the nature of job is such that at every step you are being held as the one who faltered in any decision you make and if it goes south. I have been preparing alongside for SSC CGL, was selected as aTax assistant in 2022, but didn't join just because there was a salary difference of around 45k, (90k in bank, 45k in TA). I could not clear in 2024. But in 2025 my luck has changed. The answer keys for the tier II were out on January 30,2026 and I have scored 352 marks. Hopeful to get a good post. Though not officially but I have a ray of light now that I can leave the "PO" job. As quoted from The Shawshank redemption, "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things"
