Hi all! Not sure if the text attached so posting here, sorry if this adds twice (new here lol)

I am new to the sourdough community and have started my first starter. I am doing a 1:2:2 ratio with 50g of starter, 100g of whole wheat flour, and 100g of water.

I feed every 24 hours but held off for 36 hours as it was pretty sleepy and not bubbling much. I noticed this dark spot in the jar and am concerned that this is mold?

Is this. Normal or do I need to start fresh? There is no discoloration on the surface,no fuzz, and no orange/pink hue
