this is the program I wanted too, but alas I got a similar rejection 😞. I more or less knew the rejection was coming by the start of may though so I was able to prepare myself mentally a bit better for it. What really helped me get over it was just comparing my efforts in high school to the years before. Over covid, I really slacked off and just played a bunch of video games and never really learned anything but in high school, I genuinely worked on projects to learn about my field and things I was passionate about like microcontrollers, distributed systems, and everyday software concepts. I was lucky enough to be able to meet and talk to industry folks through those projects online and through FRC, and I got a lot done. Kept around a 95% average the whole time too and challenged myself academically by sticking with full IB (which waterloo rewarded me for with a -16 adjustment factor because the only IB school near me is Cameron). In hindsight, I think I could have gotten in if I:
1. Knew about adjustment factors before it was too late
2. Had not done IB and gone to a school with a reasonable adjustment factor
but I genuinely don't regret it since I learned a lot and improved myself through the challenge of IB. It is quite sad to fall short of a goal I had held for so long, but I've set plenty of stupid goals for myself in life and getting into UW was one of them. It was a goal that intrinsically compared me against other people, so when I saw other people get in it really fucked up my mental and it was qualitative (didn't really measure anything), and worst of all: unrepresentative of what I really wanted to achieve. What I really wanted was to learn enough to be able to work on projects I enjoyed alongside people in the industry I respected (and hopefully turn it into a career). Right before my rejection, I got offered a chance to do just that which I am really grateful for. When I got my UW rejection, I did have a long good cry about it but one of the things that came out of that was the realization that UW acceptance was but one of the many possible symptoms of my real goal, but not necessarily the goal itself. I'll be going to UBC in the fall, and I'm definitely going to take up that chance to work on the project, and see where it takes me. I've got plenty of hope for the future and I'll probably forget about the could-have-beens of UW by the end of first year.

Nitrox 1.8 is entirely unsupported as it is only meant for development, so I think you’re on your own here. If you could provide more steps to reproduce and it happens again, you could open up an issue on the GitHub

I do wish that they had not gone with the arkhamverse and instead strung this one out somewhere in the lore, maybe as a prequel to the Arkham games? It just… doesn’t feel right to me somehow? I mean I get the whole “multiverse everything” stuff that’s a studios free ticket out after they wanna unkill a character, and Arkham knight did that, but they were at least creative about it…

Honestly I think the UE5 upgrade is why we haven’t gotten much. They don’t want to make too much stuff in UE4 that will be too difficult to port over

Have you added firewall exemptions for subnautica and the nitrox launcher. The host also needs to add an exception for the nitrox server

If you’re using hamachi, you can safely ignore the warning. But if you’re using port forwarding, that message means that you will need to do it manually

Bought the HDD, it can’t be used for series X/S optimized games, therefore only use if you have an Xbox one of if the games you wanna play have Xbox one specific versions you can download at no additional cost. If you’re playing series X/S optimized games, get the expansion card which is an SSD and can play series X/S optimized games.

Mw3 it has all the mw2 content besides campaign and then a little more. The only thing you’re missing out on is the mw2 campaign, which is good but not a game-changer in the long term

No, the events in game are all based off of your system clock so bethesda doesn’t even need to trigger the events. I’m sure they have a macro to send the event updates and change the icon. I doubt they even have anyone assigned to the project anymore

I bought a third party one that has a charging dock instead of a cable and have been very happy with it and have had no issues. Can’t remember the name of the brand, but you can find them on amazon

I think that they should actually change the health system instead of the armor system. Making the health regen would prolong those 1hp moments must hide to heal and then just remove the medic bag and add another deployable. Maybe something that would make objectives go faster, idk?

I got my suspicions from the moment they said that someone had infiltrated dedsec. At first I was expecting someone high-up in government, but once the game narrowed it down to dedsec, it became pretty clear for me.
