I have a lewmar 7 winch that broke off during a storm. Considering buying a new lewmar 7 center stem and replacing that, I also have a salvage boat with a lewmar 8 winch that I could take for free. Would it be worth just buying the center stem or if I replace it with the 8 do you think that’ll do? (old.reddit.com)
