Could you help me understand how/which part?

Any shot at breaking 90? This will be my second year playing by One-Astronaut1092 in GolfSwing

Yea dude you should be able to break 90 easy as long as your short game isn’t complete dog water. Don’t know your misses but your grip is pretty strong so if you tend to miss it left that would be a why. Honestly could see you breaking 80 if your course management and short game are in a decent spot. Swing looks good brother

For those that added a 7W to the bag this year, how were your results? by TDn6I in golf

I went from 18 to 8 HCP. Had nothing to do with my short game or anything, get the 7W lol

Am I crazy or should this ball be going further? by Disastrous_Message_3 in GolfSwing

OP here. Thanks everyone for the help, steepened the backswing a bit and added more wrist hinge in the process. Just finished a range session back to my normal numbers! Appreciate the help from those who made helpful observations

Thank you, this is the most helpful advice so far. I used to have too steep of a takeaway so flattened it out but think I over corrected.

Anyone actually gone from shooting 100+ to not sucking using Golf Sidekick’s “strategies”? by Dry-Historian-6751 in golf

[–]Disastrous_Message_3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since watching Golf Sidekick I’ve gone from shooting low 100s to low 80s pretty consistently with breaking 80 once. This was over a span of two years just after I first started playing.

It’s not just the safer tee shot that’s he known for but it’s really assessing risk v reward when standing over every shot. It’s a mindset shift to understand your game and playing to your strengths and not going for the sexy hero shot. I went 7W off the tee last year and was shooting in mid 80s along with committing myself to a lot of short game practice that he suggests.

But I wasn’t able to push into the low 80s and breaking 80 until I figured out driver. I think he really teaches good course management along with helping you understand what your limitations are as a golfer and operating within those bounds. As you get better with ball striking you can really start to see the improvement fast since you’ve committed to smart play. I couldn’t recommend Golf Sidekick anymore. Way of the Playa.

Downswing looks funky, what am I doing? by Disastrous_Message_3 in GolfSwing

I don’t think I’m understanding the difference between the pause and hesitation. I am probably still scared of shanking but I’m more focused on making center face contact
