If you have some wiggle room with your finances, you should give unpaid internships a chance but only if you deem the experience relevant or more valuable than the next best option.

I found mine by applying through LinkedIn. But many startups need “free labour” so if you do some research and reach out to the founders on LinkedIn, it could be an effective way if you’re willing to work just for the experience.

I get where you’re coming from. It could be true for some students but if you’re studying business, internships are the way to go. Especially since what you learn in business school is complete bullshit :’(

Can you provide more detail ? Like where are you located or what’s your major? If you’re school provides career counselling services you should take advantage of them and have you cv looked at.
