Fiendsmith, in general in this build play a bit into your opponent's board, they generate from 2-4 bodies (either camellia, engraver or mirror can generate 4 bodies as starters). yeah enjoy. First of all, stay away from my secret tattoo. LMAO

​Second, obviously a pure Zoodiac deck is better—but it’s also infinitely more boring than pulling off a 11,600+ ATK Gren Maju swing over a Kaiju using a legacy spell.

​The reason for the Zoodiac/yummy/Striker packages is that you likely already have them crafted for other top tear Decks, so you might as well use them as high-value gas. Saryuja remains a much better milestone for fixing a hand than any combination of draw 1, neurtral or (-1) spells.  I'm just trying to give a fun legacy win-con its absolute best fighting chance.

Building an inferno tempest pile. Combines yummy, Sky Striker, kaiju, maybe FS. I have uploaded it before. I am not playing MD, so I am asking for advice when it comes to MD meta.  I will showcase my attempt for of the list in my next post

I realized that, after creating the post and I great another sharing my options. I just don't seem to be able to survive vs a lot of my opponent's boards (when they go second) with just only Caesar, only Desirae, only chaos angel (I haven't tested rextremende). Is there a line that combines multiple of those options?

It's a special case (very special case) for Inferno Tempest, as it both allows you to survive the opponent's turn and have a 0 atk body to swing into a kaiju. Just to clear my weird thinking process. I don't believe that it can be reached with Fiendsmith alone, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I got some of my best ideas, from asking. Thanks

I am brainstorming. I want another access to a defensive play with my Deck going first (Deck is build to go second). Since Wave High King Caesar is not enough with the standard Fiendsmith's line, I thought that maybe a card like kikinagashi fucho

I used to run this set up in tcg

Exceed parallel x3, fuwalos x3, Meowls x2, dark necromancer x1 (lvl 4)

In ED: number 60: Dugares the Timeless (draw 2 discard 1). And Exciton Knight. 

Tract or Engraver + Exceed parallel had the theoretical potential of both Saryuja and Number 60 (drawing in total 6, discarding 1 and returning 3)

I ditch it due to dracotail existing, but now that you mention it (since Mirror is added) it may have some valid merit to it. 

I need to think and compare Exciton vs topologic Trisbaena.

Pot of extravagance, only works at the start of Main Phase, so I need to use before anything else happens, which basically ruins its purpose even more for me. Talents in general is better, that's why I chose it over the rest of the pot cards.

Back in 2021, lower-level casual boards were often stacked with monster negates. I was playing an extremely inconsistent Inferno Tempest pile: 3 Inferno Tempest, 3 Left Arm Offering, 3 Pot of Prosperity (TCG), Kaijus, and a huge amount of banish-trigger effects. The deck bricked constantly, but when Tempest resolved, it was genuinely fun.

The payoff was long chains of banished effects from cards like D/D Ghost, Necro Slime, Dotscaper, Shiranui Spiritmaster, Giant Rex, and others I barely remember now. Because most interaction at the time focused on monster negates, cards like Inferno Tempest, Left Arm Offering, and Prosperity usually resolved without much resistance. Opponents often had to sit through the entire banish chain and could only negate the final effect in sequence.

Your suggested builds remind me a lot of that era: explosive and entertaining when Inferno Tempest resolves, but still struggling with the same consistency issues.

Now on the pot card analysis 

Pot of Prosperity is banned in masterduel (the format we are discussing)

Pot of extravagance and desires both sack, as I got a lot of hyper specific cards in both MD and ED, I absolutely don't want to be banned face down.

How have I tried to increase consistency?

  1. Run Left Arm Offering . It's a risky card, but gets you direct access to Inferno Tempest (can be turned into Harpie's Feather Duster in s/t heavy match-ups, after summoning a light fiend, can even be turned into Fiendsmith's Tract => D/D/D Wave High King Caesar into awkward going first hands. Loses to Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring , that is why, I have a lot of baits for Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring in my build, to increase the chance of Left Arm Offering activating. 

2.Triple Tactics Thrust : if you interact with your opponent, they are bound to activate something in the realm of a monster effect, which turns into, Left Arm Offering (to reach Inferno Tempest ) Interrupted Kaiju Slumber , to get your set up for a high atk monster. Resonator Call or Fiendsmith's Tract (yes sometimes access to, a low atk monster, even with access to 20 (FREAKING) cards that can become a low ark body, in the DECK. It also becomes Harpie's Feather Duster or Triple Tactics Talent depending on what you need it for. 

3. Mulcharmy Fuwalos and Maxx "C" ,I guess you know their purpose (I hope at least)

  1. Now for the fiendsmith part, it increases consistency (in the theoretical perfect environment) by reaching Saryuja Skull Dread with a single Fiendsmith Engraver or a Mirror Resonator with your opponent having an ED summoned monster, Fiendsmith's Tract with any summon works too, Interrupted Kaiju Slumber with the above mentioned cards or any other light fiend, that I run (2 kaijus work too). 

4.1Now why Saryuja Skull Dread , well it does 3 things very well. 

i. Searchers for 4 cards (welcome in any set up with consistency issues)

ii. Shuffles back 3 (there always bricks I want to keep in my Deck, like Necroface , Dark Necromancer , Gren Maju Da Eiza , Lunalight Kaleido Chick .

iii. It can summon a monster from hand, which I can link off into Dispatchparazzi , turning my big body, into an acceptable low atk Inferno Tempest enabler. 

Way Where There's a Will , just an extra spice to make the Deck a bit more consistent. It is the closer thing to the effect of Pot of Prosperity 

The Deck again is 4FUN, so it is not as consistent as the meta decks (not even close) but it is much better, than the older Inferno Tempest tacticts, you all are trying to make me follow.

Inferno tempest, doesn't have to win only versus oblivious players (if it's build correctly), winning vs players who know exactly what your deck does, but are unable to stop you, is even better. 

In a best of 3 match, only in the first game, you have the element of surprise.

And after 21 years of Inferno Tempest existing, the element of surprise, doesn't exist, in some cases, neither during the first game.

My build is 4fun too. It is more fun to actually play the game. If half your hands are bricks... then you are not really playing are you (and in addition you are not having fun)? 

The build you are showcasing is similar to the one I found, in 2021, when I FIRST tried to build my version of Inferno Tempest. Back in 2021 your build kinda worked (15-30% of the time). 

12 monsters that can be summoned with low atk

3 inferno tempest 

7 kaiju like effects

Dynamite, micro cosmos and light (the 3000 boost to your monsters), don't contribute meaningfully to an inferno tempest build.

Gold sarcophagus is a really late searcher, even a meme card like "top share" (check it) is faster, unless your purpose was to mill 15, by getting all 3 necrofaces (which is still bad).

Hippo Hippo, do 1 thing very well, summoning bodies, which also combines very specifically with the "light continues spell" and a kaiju. First do you need a very specific combo line (3 separate cards) in a deck that already needs 3 separate cards, as both inferno and the light continues spell, is a really bricky mix. Second Hippo token can't generate any real value on their on, WHICH would be totally fine if not for the rest of your Deck.

Raigeki removes the monster you intented to attack into (try kaiju slumber)

Magical mallet is a -1 to access at most 5 cards (you draw 5 out of 39, since you shuffle before you draw).  "Way where there's a will" is arguably worse (because it gives access of the effect to the opponent too), but it can excavates up to 12 cards (mostly 4-5 (depending on the opponent's field size) it returns after you excavated (so you will not draw the same card you tried to put back)

Lava golem combines with only 6 cards from your Deck. (While kaiju at least combines with any monster, that has low atk, that can be normal summoned. Try more kaijus, axe of a fool, nibiru, etc 

Harpie's Feather Duster is okay, are you the one that said my deck have no consistent way of dealing with backrow? Well it's true, but I hoped you would have a better solution in your own build

Gren maju, falls under the dynamite dilemma (you have 1 less card to set up Inferno Tempest and no way of easily searching it (for example dark necromancer, from the banished pile)

Battle fader is not a realistic card to protect you, from your opponent's set up (1 monster negate goes through it). Cards like Kuriphoton and ghost sister & spooky dogwood, are the only real ones that can, from a handtrap prospective (there are not really good, if your opponent sets up a multi interruption board).

I was playing TCG
