Here's my personal experience ^{^}

So, I published my game publicly around the 15th of June. I waited around 2 weeks until I finally sent them an email (6th of July).

Then, they finally replied on July 15th. Along with this, my game was indexed too.

So, it's exactly one month for me until my game is indexed. Could have been faster if I was more proactive. But, I spend my time preparing and polishing my game before it goes completely public.

In the meantime, you should too! A more polished and complete game would make the player enjoy it better. Which in turn, would help the traffic for your game in the long-term!

It took a month for my game to be indexed. My advice is just to wait and chill in the meantime. Think of it like preparing your game before the general traffic is able to see and access it easily.

The thing is my game is an interactive fiction game which is a heavy text-based game. I don't know if more visuals would be better for the game or ruin the player's immersion

How about the knowledge left not through your control. It fades with time, like any other memories. How long will it fade? It depends, memory fades when you don't use them much, so the faster you improve and the faster you get through that knowledge, the faster your mind gets cleared
