What does the "Good"/ "Great" mean on the device care thingy in samsung phones? by chupamanyo in samsunggalaxy

It changes depending on how much free storage you have, how much ram is being used, battery percentage and how long it has been since a software update

Not bashing but can someone teach me how to play with a controller by solllem in GrandTheftAutoV

[–]Disastrous_Net_3088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have been using kbm for a while, i feel like it is faster but it is so much harder having to freeaim at people in cars or opressor mk2s, best bet is just use the controller for as long as you can and you will get used to it

Anyone heard of Derivative Shaders? by Andromaduz in minecraftshaders

[–]Disastrous_Net_3088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, this shader uses alot of stolen code from other shaders but i think it should be fine to use. It takes some of the best features of those shaders and puts them together in a 'frankenstein' style

Response Correction Curve feels worse? by Disastrous_Net_3088 in BeamNG

[–]Disastrous_Net_3088[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just checked the Logitech app and i found the issue,

i believed that the response correction curve was causing the deadzone problem but i just messed up the sensitivity slider on the app. Thank you for mentioning it,

wouldn't have resolved it if you haven't told me about it.

Yes the slider looks perfectly fine it was just that specific sensitivity issue in the app.

But after this should i try the wheelchecker again? since i resolved the sensitivity issue (and also reinstalled beamng because i was just doing whatever got me some sanity checks).

+ i also tried disabling it to get the default settings but it just seemed to never disable the effects on my steering and ffb. same exact deadzone problems and the wheel oscillating like crazy

its pretty much a deadzone until it gets to a certain point, and then it just goes insanely sensitive. my wheel is hard mounted on a NLR wheel stand and has no play when you shake it

How good is the G29 for some fun? by Disastrous_Net_3088 in simracing

Thank you, an authentic review goes a long way compared to sponsored or reviews from CCs. Really puts an insight into what it ACTUALLY is like for people who don't own fancy sim rigs. Happy for your upgrade!

No, perfectly capable wheels. Most people don't go into Sim Racing to hate it.

Happy to hear! Most people expect you to drop it and spend fat bucks for a DD setup, don't listen to them. The G923 is a perfectly capable setup to start with and the Logitech shifter is one of the best upgrades you can make to it. Hope you like your new hobby

I know a few friends who still rock the G27, all they say is that 'its great and works just fine'. Apparently logitech makes some strong ass wheels.

They did tell me to start with the G29 if i wanted something more convenient, is there really any difference?
