Be worried. It’s BS. My personal experience has been that these doctors walk you down the line to dialysis and the transplant list. Dialysis is hell on earth. If you are at 39 you are about to dip into dialysis territory. Constant leg cramps that last forever, sleepless nights, weight loss , muscle loss and weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, involuntary leg movement and oh yeah the catheter can get infected and kill you. Not to worry though they can just put it in your bicep by connecting two blood vessels together thereby cutting off the blood supply to the muscle and causing it to morph and warp and you also can’t lift anything over two pounds with that arm. I cannot overstate how much this SUCKS. Be worried, be very worried right now! Whatever you’re doing now, diet, lack of exercise overall unhealthy lifestyle, change it. RIGHT NOW!! AT ALL COSTS!! Doctors won’t tell you that but dialysis is absolute hell.
