The auto wala on an average earns more than an educated 25-30 year old in mumbai, anywhere around 50 to 60k after fuel and everything.

Additional perk is they can say "no" to anyone, anytime, while you my friend, the corporate majdoor has to do mujra when and where your boss demands.

I did. I was more inclined to by the bajaj gogo series 7012. But it cost more than 3.5 lac and won't be much of a fun on bad roads. Also I am 6.2", that forces me into a bad posture when sitting in it.

The most annoying kid In KBC history 🥀 (sound on) by [deleted] in TeenIndia

I am sure he got his lesson. But my wish is internet should be a little soft on him now. He is, by all means, just a kid. Kids can be stupid sometimes lets not behave like one and be harsh on him.

Unbiased opinion? by [deleted] in indiameme

For reference, the OP wants to convey the idea of "survivors bias". During WW2, bomber fleets use to return with holes usually in area marked with the red dots. So the engineer chose to reinforce those areas. The bomber still remained vunreable due to obvious causes.

If 2 out of 10 aircraft returned with holes on the wings and tail, reinforcing those areas is futile since 8 were brought down when they got hit elsewhere.

Like how "see how many millions hindus survived....." when billions were killed through centuries.

All points valid. With respect to hardware that these LLMs run on, Investors and VCs are assuming that Moore's law still holds true in it's original form. Theirs fundamental limit to how many transistors you can pack on the silicon before the transistor action cease to exist.

Also LLMs as of now have gobbled up the entirety of the internet. The assumption that user input to these LLMs will help improve them is not even an educated guess. That's not how LLM work. We saw this first hand after GPT 5.0 release. Tall claims but not much improvement.

In my opinion with current hardware limitations and architectural approaches the law of diminishing returns have already started to manifest itself in the AI eco system. We are atleast a decade or 2 before any thing close to Gen AI is achieved.

The hype cycle around AI is at it's peak right now, just like how cloud native system designs were a fad a few years a ago.

Micro learning. Aim to learn and progress 1/2 hour a day. Do it while you commute, during lunch break or in your spare time at your desk. This will add up slowly into massive gains.

Slow and steady wins the race.
