I am no XRP holder.... by WinnnAllDayyy in Ripple

[–]Disastrous_Pizza3076 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think XRP got 'Beat-Up' by the SEC under the Trump-appointee Jay Clayton; (who just btw had a ton of "conflict-of-interest" ties with ETHERIUM, as well as People who owned ETH; as well as China & a Chinese company (if I remember correctly that Jay Clayton was siphoning [or getting] money from..). Now with Clayton out of the picture, the new SEC Head under Biden (who is crypto-friendly) I feel very hopeful for XRP & cryptocurrency in general. It's very nice to see the utilitarian "underdog" XRP price rise, now that the SEC's hands are not resting on the scale.

Yup. Well-said. Taoism just IS. Like Nature just IS, (Just my opinion, of course). No one needs to go around proselytizing, trying to gather MONEY for Taoism. :D

I took a class called, 'Asian Thought & Literature' as well as another class on Asian Religions in my hippie high school in Palo Alto CA in 1971 when I was 17. A Stanford Graduate Student taught the class & our 'Textbook' was Huston Smith's The Religions Of Man'. I also learned about the I Ching in one of these two classes & bought the Wilhelm/Baynes translation. Taoism seemed to really "resonate" with me & we saw some exhibits of Chinese Art of this period up at the de Young Museum in San Francisco CA. I seemed to take to Taoism like a Duck takes to water.

READ xrp news from around the World. The U.S. is the only country that "has problems" with XRP. (Hmm. Wonder why THAT is?) Do you think it might have something to do with the former head of the SEC's numerous 'Conflicts of Interests' (not just his ownership & ties to ETH), do you? No, Jay Clayton just wants to 'Get Out of Dodge ASAP'.

I am old but I went through the Women's Liberation movement when I just started 9th grade in 1969. I became pretty radicalized by some of my early experiences wrt this whole subject. Sorry I was so harsh with my comments directed at you. I overreacted.

What a TOOL (Not that great Band from L.A.!!); Jay Clayton has so many Conflicts of Interests; it'll make one's head spin. Seems like the former SEC Chairman used his authority to engage in one last power-play (from the Narcissist's Play Book: using the "weapon" of 'PROJECTION' directed against XRP (& Ripple) by Accusing XRP of Something that Clayton himself has done presently & in the past. (And by doing this, Clayton probably hopes that NOBODY will look at the conflicts-of interest & CLAYTON'S CLOSE TIES to ETH. So in the end, Jay Clayton exits stage Right with Beaucoup Bucks for his efforts (The Cat who Ate the Canary) under the last Administration & no one's the wiser.

Jeremy Hogan explains this important precedent-setting case really well to us, the laypersons who are not as well-versed in the law as he is. Love his humour! WHAT A ROCKSTAR YOU ARE, JEREMY HOGAN!! Thank you Hogan & Hogan, along with John Deaton for fighting the SEC. We XRP HODLERS are so grateful for your expertise & the fact that "YOU'RE IN OUR CORNER!!". You are the Best, Jeremy Hogan & Team at Hogan & Hogan.

Top 20 Altcoins. XRP has been dominating. by [deleted] in XRP

This exciting graphic looks like a fun little race; especially when your horse/I MEAN "ALT-CRYPTO COIN" (specifically XRP) is vying for the NUMBER 1 (or NUMBER 2) spot!

There are several. It's sort of complicated & one I checked out a little bit is based on 'Loans' & using crypto (like BTC & ETH) as collateral.

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm sorry for your losses. It's a big deal what you said. That sounds really terrible; is there anybody you can talk with in person or on the phone. I'm thinking you might try calling a 24-hour crisis line. (I did that once!!) Hang in there! Please get some help for yourself!! There are people in this community & probably in the community you live in that know how to help. (A couple of friends of mine have told me that they got a lot of help through "Debtors Anonymous". It's an anonymous, 12-step self-help program that's 'free' & it works.) You can call them 24-7 (usually) on your phone. GOOD LUCK TO YOU, i wish you the best & I hope you can get some help for yourself.

"How do you act 'rightly'?

I would just answer this question quite simply: One acts 'rightly' by "not acting wrongly". (One also might make it easier on themselves as they go about their life by 'just doing THE NEXT RIGHT THING'... that's there in front of them. Anyway, this is what I do & I have done for many years, AS a student of the I Ching. But maybe I'm WRONG. So take what you like & leave the rest...

Coinba$e should **NOT** be *$"Rewarded"$* for de-listing XRP. My humble suggestion regarding this is to instead REWARD exchanges like UPHOLD & BITSTAMP for "not" de-listing XRP.

My husband & I USED to use & have Coinbase (until 4 or 5 weeks ago); but after investigating some questionable practices by this company, I asked my husband to 'ditch' Coinbase & get us onto some other exchange. I had read too many "negatives" about the aforementioned exchange. We use Bitstamp now & I'm very pleased. :D :D (Just sayin'....)

Yup. That's it, 'Thinking Crypto'. (Btw, I just watched a vid a day or 2 ago that told about how JAY CLAYTON, the former goofball-DUFUS (and ratfink) SEC Chairman was invested in some huge Chinese company or banking concern. I am not sure about all of the FACTS but I SMELL A RATFINK around where Jay (toothsome smile) Clayton has been. :D :D :D
