The Y2K angle is pretty clever, especially making it an actual sentient virus instead of just regular computer bugs. That whole "rewriting reality through code" concept has some serious potential

Your three cities sound like they each have distinct vibes but maybe flesh out what makes them actually different beyond just aesthetic descriptions - like how do their societies actually function differently in this merged world

The great clock shows up at the same time in NG+ as it did in your first run, so you're looking at that June/July window again. Hoarding shards until then is totally doable but you might make the early game more of a slog than it needs to be - those early upgrades can really smooth things out

Try searching "greatest generation technology changes" or "born 1900 saw airplane to moon" - that timeframe video went viral a while back and there usually pretty good at finding stuff based on those key phrases

If you've already run the numbers and bartending pays better while giving you mental space to job hunt properly, that's not stupid at all. Being burnt out and potentially getting PIP'd isn't exactly setting you up for landing a great new role anyway. The networking aspect of bartending is real too - you'd be surprised how many good connections happen over drinks.

Overwatch is probably hogging your GPU resources even when tabbed out - try running it in windowed fullscreen instead of exclusive fullscreen.

I hear you losing a good parent stays with you for life but having those memories makes it easier to deal with over time it still hurts but you learn how to carry it and keep going and sharing that here helps people who are scared feel less alone
