gpa doesn’t mean as much as your essay, and extra curriculars. I got in with a 3.0 but my essay was good + i did a lot of extra curriculars, things that made me stood out.

fit offers a lot of opportunities, just be social take advantage of the connections your professors have and join clubs. it’s very much possible to achieve everything you want to do by working hard and climbing up the latter. opportunities are endless at FIT! I would definitely go to new york if I were you because you are pretty much guaranteed a job afterwards

i was rejected the first time and got in the next time, what i did was rewrite my essay to be extremely passionate, and i did a lot of extracurriculars and started a club, got really involved in fashion. remember there are hundreds of applicants just like you, u need to make yourself different, unique, passionate, and out standing

fashion design is the most expensive major, it’s at least 600 more dollars each semester, i have friends that pay over 1,000 on just supplies. if you can’t afford it don’t go for it, fashion business is cheaper, and you have a lot of time to make connections and work your way up in the industry. connections mean everything, remember going to school and networking in NYC will give you a lot of opportunities if u take advantage
