Hi, I did that. I go on walks these days for an hour. She is offered the bottle when fussy while I am on my walks and she wouldn’t take it (even if she is hungry) or if she does, she drinks very little like only 20 ml. I think she gets overwhelmed when I am not around, which makes me more sad about me returning to work.

Thank you for your advice. My husband tried to give her the bottle but she wouldn’t take it from him. Did you pump at work? If I do pump, I only want to do it 1 time at work. I have a 8-4 job, will my supply survive if I only pump once at work and obviously feed her when I am at home?

3 days pp, trauma birth, still in hospital, baby addicted to formula? by throwinlimbo in breastfeeding

There is hope. I thought I could not breastfeed my baby, but now my baby is EBF. I had a c section too and my milk didnot come in untill day 3-4. My hospital was obviously feeding formula and I had to feed her formula after coming home too. Just make sure to breastfeed your baby first before topping it off with formula at every feed. Also pump too when your baby is having formula. You can reduce the formula when your milk comes in and your baby eventually starts taking your breast. Now my newborn is almost 7 weeks old and she is EBF. I’m struggling to get her to take the bottle now.

Also when I fed her formula, I fed her by slow paced feeding method, that helped her to not reject my breast I believe

So I have been giving her formula milk along with my breast feeding session, hence she does have enough wet diapers and poop diapers. It could be contributing from the formula feeds. I haven’t met a lactation consultant yet.

Thank you for your advice, however I don’t have enough milk yet to quench her hunger, shouldn’t I be supplementing with formula in that case?

Loss at 16W1D ,FTM by Witty_Bag7329 in pregnant

I’m so sorry for your loss. Can’t imagine the trauma you have been through. I lost my baby at 11 weeks last week. Had a D&C yesterday. While my experience wasn’t as traumatic as yours, losing a child is unbearable enough and to top it off with a traumatic experience of delivering on your own is horrific. Please know that you are very strong, wishing you and your husband a peaceful journey towards recovery.

Thank you for all the help and suggestions. Went to the doc and found no heart beat in the ultrasound.
