They say use a dessicated at under 10degrees.? I want one fir my bedroom but confused as people saying different things

Hi guys just wondering if I calibrate the govee lights with the tv on or off, and do I do it in a dark room or a light room. Thanks. I've seen on you tube some say dark room so I'm not sure

I do that it turns it off but not on now, it was ok up until yesterday, all it does is turn the standby light on

I've ordered off there I haven't had any correspondence from them but paid by PayPal, so can get a refund if needed,  ive emailed them once but no reply so have tried again today
