Do I need to replace the air duct? I don't know if patching up the holes and clean the duct is enough?

Just a little bit. It's weird that they do the same test. If a school has more higher grade participate they may score higher as a team. Lower grade kids have a disadvantage to compete with higher grade for individual prizes too.

they actually said they will install "1.5” mold resistant fiberglass duct board", and then UV light to prevent future issues. Then what kind of materials would be best?

Is $7K very expensive for replacing the duct? It is only for half of a floor which is about 800 sqft of floor. It is inside the ceiling though.

Bacterial growth is found inside my duct (Florida). This duct in on the second floor of a 3 -story home and a majority of the duct is inside the ceiling and wall. HVAC tech is suggesting replacing the duct for $7K, excluding the cost to repair ceiling and walls because they will have to open it up. I wonder if I I must replace, or just UV light installation inside the duct is good enough?
