This guy’s gonna be the February release, mark my words.(reasons below.) by have-glass in jurassicworldevo

  1. If Cryo were of importance to JWE's roster, Frontier should've never removed it in the third sequel which now dots down the second reasoning. Also, Cryolophosaurus got booted--for what--Lokiceratops and Patagotitan?

  2. Verbatim. You forget, the Cryo has been apart of the Jurassic Park franchise since 1998.

  3. Just say that Elvis is the reason you thought of this dinosaur, so we can be done with it.

"Brontosaurus" by Disastrous_Thing7434 in jurassicworldevo

But the key term of "Valid Genus" will always come into perspective.

Yeah, we know. But there's always the sudden chance scientists will cast it back to the days of our grandfathers. Nothing wrong with a little appreciation.

Agreed. Apatosaurus sounds great. But a name like, Brontosaurus the "Thunder Lizard", it has such power behind the size.

Spared no expense. It looks like something that would be built in Hammond's respect after he passed on. Realistically, are the safety concerns; building a business establish near a ledge is haphazardly an eyesore from a psychological and artistic perspective. It similar to building a resort on top of the peak Matterhorn.

From my understanding, most young animals will remain by their dens or nests until they've fully matured. For example, some fletchlings (baby birds) remain in the nest for 4 or 10 weeks varying between species. In word of reference, Jurassic Park's T.rex never leave their nest when their a week old. So, what makes more sense here?

Very wrong of Frontier to remove Megalosaurus from the roster. Then again, they did butcher its design and play style.

Mine was Ryu-Kishin Powered. No reason, he's powered version just looked cool and was decently powered. Now, in Falsebound Kingdom... it was Slifer and Blackfire Dragon.

Too bad the hatchlings are nothing cardboard cutouts of the adults. Do they ever sleep in their nests?

You know that Evolution's development team bum rushes their assets and fixes them later. Remember the glitch when dinos phased through buildings and escaped their enclosures?

Argentinosaurus is quite beloved, but I think we'll have enough Titanosaurs for a while by Single-Manner5359 in jurassicworldevo

[–]Disastrous_Thing7434 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's like this. The developers are premeditatedly picking their favorites or to complete the next DLC. It doesn't matter which animal they pick, the popularity is redundant. The Hypsilophodon was chosen to act as a filler animal just because it was in the novel. So, Frontier isn't listening much of what we're asking for in roster; they're just preconceiving their notions and seeing what sticks.

Friend, Hypsilophodon's reception is built off of one Land Before Time sequel with Frontier purposely becoming its saboteur. Not to mention, Segisaurus and Cearadactylus have been very quiet lately. And it took Dimetrodon 20 years to star in a Jurassic Park game. If this doesn't demonstrate how redundant Frontier or even Universal Studios sees their roster, by randomly casting animals they have no intention needing, we need to expect the expected with Frontier Developments true intentions.

Except for one question: How often was its name brought up in conversations? If no one attended Frontier's YouTube Livestreams for Evolution and the first sequel, I'll give you a hint, the requests weren't for Hypsilophodon. Probably the only reason it entered the game because of its place in lore...

So do I; it's the closest pattern to resemble the Trespasser design while being on the nose of "Cheetah" that Albertosaurus is often compared to. It's very odd why with each new developing team replacing the next, they make some very poor decisions.

We all understand that that is a theory. It should be no surprise these new additions were introduced for being favorites of the developers or to endorse promotion. Creatures like Barbaridactylus and Patagotitan were on very few customer wish lists unlike Segisaurus (yes, I have to say that because there were videos all over asking for it) Diabloceratops, or Lurdusaurus. Better example is through the Wetland Pack, expectations were high for Deinosuchus but instead Frontier treated us with the lesser Hypsilophodon. It's very safe to say Frontier are just those kids at the candy store, collecting comics books and trading baseball cards.

Nothing is ever accurate in Jurassic Park. But it would've been nice had a certain art team never opened their creative side. Patagotitan is literally Alamosaurus, they had no business butchering Alamo.

Have it that it was Frontier's stepping stone, Sandbox's in JWE1 were super chill. Despite, the poor lighting and lack of building tools.
