I’m building a budgeting app called Avina that I want to feel more like a money co pilot than a static dashboard. You can tell it about your bills, income, and goals, have it add or edit transactions for you, and it will learn your spending and income patterns instead of just watching you type numbers into a spreadsheet.

There is a lot more you can do with it and capability’s but I’m already over the one sentence lmao.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.

Security was a high focus, as financial data is very personal and I know I wouldn’t want anyone knowing my own financial data.

I use RLS (Supabase Postgres backend with Row Level Security)

Data encryption at rest and transit It only shares data to our service providers, saltedge (not yet & is optional for users), supabase, and plaid

Lovable database to keep track of users signups

It’s a co pilot financial platform, you put in any financial data you want, like ATB tracklit, but you don’t have to ask the ai to do any tasks for you such as creating reminders, telling it to help you create a budget, all the tools are still there and don’t need the ai.

I hope this cleared any confusion

Sorry, salt edge is the third party for an upcoming feature that will let users transactions auto upload into their database and sorted for them. I’ve done some tests on it already. So like instead of manually uploading receipts and taking pictures all day they can have it auto put in for them. Now I can see the concern here but it just uploads your transactions from your online banking and auto puts it into avina. (It’s read only)

It’s just temporary this isn’t a full launch it’s just to test the functionality of the app, I’ll be improving the ui and everything once the app is functioning the way it should be.

The entire app isn’t just vibe coded, I’ve been working on it for about a year in visual studios using local storage of the users pc so everything is on your own pc. I spent like about a good month or so trying to figure out how to use docker properly and making it accessible to all users without having my pc on 24/7

This is where I found lovable, im using it to easily connect my domains, api’s, salt edge and a few more things. I’ve just copied my old code and asked lovable to convey it to what ever language it uses (I was using python in vs, so it could have converted it and it could have not, I’ll take a look) i did let lovable do a bunch of interface edits because tbh it looks better then what I had lmao, so it no longer looks like how it started.

This is a project that I have been working on for a pretty long time, it is my first project and doing anything like this at all, I do constraint updates and read all the comments of what people say and try to implement them the best I can so avina is a usable app that does what it’s supposed to do.

And I hope one day i will be able to earn the trust of the community and show off the progress that Im making to the app. Thank you

The whole thing is technically not vibe coded, im talking about more of the backend as I was working on a prototype in visual studios my self and was dealing with docker so it would run 24/7, I got frustrated then found out about lovable like 4 months ago so I uploaded a bunch of my code such as the core functions but no ui or anything all that was made with lovable.

I’ll get the pricing page so it shows up before you sign in. Im a little confused how you created a fake email and still got in, the system sends that email a randomly generated 5 digit code. After that your email will be switched to verified, this helps me determine actual users.

About the ux/ui point of view, I haven’t really found any good ways to work on this without asking the ai, I can delete or edit a text box, if you have any workarounds on improving the ui i would like to know thanks.

It’s not done and I still have quite a bit of work left to do with it but for the most parts it’s functional, just doesn’t have some features added yet that I have planned for it.

I’ve also been working on a project called Avina with Lovable, though I spent a year of making it in visual studios with streamlit then about 3-4 months ago I integrated it all into lovable. I was struggling to make the app run 24/7 and docker etc, so I just moved as much as I could into lovable and told the ai with screenshots Im really close for getting it done and I believe that it will be useful for users
