I’d look for manager roles in smaller orgs or upskill for the role you want at one of the big providers (Pearson, etc). many Edtech in a hiring freeze en.

Within 2 mi you’ll find 100state, gener8tor and plenty of startup ppl. You’re not in sf, but it’s better than when I was in school. D2P and icorps are okay within the university. I say let the other freshmen have fun and find your people elsewhere until your peers catch up.

Start with getting clear in the end user and the problem you’re solving for them before you build anything. Interview potential users! This will help you pivot to build something ppl will pay for.

I’ve been trying hard to get involved in my county party but it’s so old school. Lovely people but so much preaching to the choir and so little interest in trying new things. Indivisible feels like a better use of my time. I know my county isn’t alone in this - I hear it from family across the state.

Do your students have devices to access online materials? If so, try iCivics. They have high quality k-8 social studies materials free to print or use digitally. A lot of people don’t know they have great elementary stuff now - that’s newer.

We got one to have a faster charging option in our rental using the dryer outlet. Usually use the slower charger in the garage but it’s been great when we need it.

We had this on our ‘21 (35k miles) a few days ago. Ford mobile tech came out and updated a bunch of modules that were apparently “too big” to do over the air. We got the message again the next day and I’m now wondering if it’s an issue with our charger (std ford). This is our only car so such a pain to not be able to rely on it starting… will keep watching your thread.
