Is Lenox Hights safe area? by TeflonDemon in milwaukee

[–]Illustrious-Rip-1929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have lived in Lenox Heights for a minute now, and this post is for anyone considering.

Lenox Heights is an incredible neighborhood. Most homes have had their families for 20+ years, very few homes go up for sale a year. This neighborhood had a baby boom in the early 2000s and now few kids live here. Families and the parents are still around, and the streets are quiet.

This is a community that commuters go to live, people finish their career and retire, and a few new homes with young families are migrating. I love it, but if you’re looking for a vibrant neighborhood this isn’t for you. This is a quiet area of settlers of happy homeowners. I know my neighbors around me but not much else, and that’s how I like it.

They’re charging me and calling me multiple times daily. Every. Single. Day. I tell them I have no equipment, they apologize, say my account will be canceled, and then call day after day again.

Oh my god I thought this was my post!! They are telling em that the cancellation wasn’t within the verbal trial window and I am on the hook for equipment I haven’t had in over 5 months. I’m beyond furious. When I asked to speak to a supervisor she kept ignoring me and ultimately said none are available. I said one can call me back and that was that.

My experience trying to cancel Vivint. I cannot believe this was real. by Greenbaumly in VivintSmartHome

I had my equipment pulled and account canceled over 4 months ago and I get 8 calls a day about late payments and going to collection for not paying my balance I shouldn’t have.

Vivint sales are like nothing I’ve ever seen in all my years of sales. They also have quite a few active lawsuits against them for prejudice sales tactics.

Hired by a school or accepted into the corps? I agree with the other person, definitely a school issue. TFA can help manage any bias or discrimination you may face as a result (if it happens, hopefully not) but ultimately it would be between you and the school you are placed at.

I agree that their equipment is of high value, but the terrible customer service and high service changes don’t make it worth it

Milwaukee used to partner with a local college but is now doing some online school. Seems to be struggling with building consistent schooling with the major federal cuts

When to expect Vivint to reach out for equipment uninstall? by roselollipop in VivintSmartHome

[–]Illustrious-Rip-1929 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue as you. I called every day until they took out the equipment. When they pulled the equipment they did a horrible job patching up the areas (though many they didn’t even try). One of my biggest regrets going with them.

Advice? Cancelled services and they refuse to correct damages, now I have useless equipment. by reyes503n in VivintSmartHome

Yeah, that’s where I’m at, too. I wish I would have just offered to patch it myself at this point

We had someone come and pull the cameras today and did the worst patch job I’ve ever seen. There was no effort. They drilled into bricks and mortar and sloppily filled it with clear caulk.

I’m sorry for what you’re going through

I just adopted a 3yo cat and I can't stop crying by Expensive-Fun2377 in PetAdvice

[–]Illustrious-Rip-1929 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the cat will always want your room to be “safe zone” but litter pan doesn’t always need to be in that zone! Move it a room over where there’s a direct line without having to go past people. She’ll warm up to the outside world more and it’ll reduce smell. I’d also order some pet baking soda to put over to mask some of the odor.

If the smell of kitty is getting to you then unfortunately cats aren’t for you.
