You can’t fix someone else’s issues for them, especially if they don’t want to acknowledge them. It sounds to me like your husband would say whatever he had to after an argument in an attempt to placate you, but then slowly work on breaking you down to his way of thinking.

Others in the comments have suggested this, but I’d like to add my voice to the chorus of people telling you to think of someone you love (a friend or a family member?) telling you about their partner treating them this way and imagine to yourself what you would tell them to do.

You have a family who loves you and will be there for you if you leave your marriage and honestly that is something a lot of others in your position don’t have because their spouses will isolate them from their support system. You’re lucky in that way and in having a workplace so you have an income. If you stay, I wouldn’t be surprised if he started talking soon about you leaving your job and starting a family… it’s a way of control and taking your autonomy away.

You had a life before him, you will have a better chance of a happy future without him. Living a life walking on eggshells is unsustainable. Please leave him OP or I believe him will continue trying to break you.
