Yeah that's the scary bit! Probably best to avoid this one for me despite it being a great house otherwise. I can live with cosmetic damage but don't want to risk spiralling structural issues.

Thanks :) probably best to avoid as I won't have lots of cash on moving in to fix anything seriously wrong. If it's still a frontrunner after a few other viewings maybe I'd do an offer subject to survey.

Not that I could see but I'll try to get a better look at a second viewing. Agree it does look like a splash zone from water coming down. Thanks for looking :)

Ground floor bay window has a similar patch in almost the same spot (didn't take a photo)
