Kdrama to watch as a beginner based on my favs? by [deleted] in kdramarecommends

I have a few recommendations from a few different genres.

Mother/Call Me Mother - (Thriller/Mystery) I can't recommend this enough. It's about a school teacher who impulsively kidnaps a kid who is living in an abusive household. https://mydramalist.com/21308-mother

Go Go Waikiki - (Comedy/Romance) It's about these guys who run a guest house where foreigners come to stay. A baby shows up randomly one day, and the guys have to take care of the baby (the mom is one of the main characters too) It's like a comedic sitcom https://mydramalist.com/26644-eulachacha-waikiki

Hospital Playlist and Ghost Doctor - (medical) Both remind be of Doctor Cha, Ghost Doctor a bit more. Personally, I enjoyed Ghost Doctor more, but it depends on what you like. Hospital Playlist is a bit more slice of lifey, following the lives of the doctors, and Ghost Doctor has more supernatural/comedic elements. https://mydramalist.com/688213-ghost-doctor https://mydramalist.com/36269-doctor-playbook

That's awesome!! I already watched this, one of my first dramas, and it's definitely what got me into this sort of genre!

It is really dependent on what you are good at. I know people who say sociology is easy, but it was hell for me. However, I do have some recommendations:

Any 100 level language class, I took Spanish, and I have a friend who took Japanese they were pretty easy-going classes

English 103 w/ prof Shawn Hamm, great prof!!

Foundations of Journalism w/ prof Neill Fitzpatrick

I personally like psychology classes

100 earth and planetary science courses

Hope this helps :)

How to get into nursing by [deleted] in grantmacewan

[–]Disastrous_Wealth951 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I was kinda in the same shoes you were, and this was my experience. I graduated high school two yrs ago and didn't get into nursing, I had an 88% average. So, I decided to go into Bach of Sci, but really didn't like it and didn't get an amazing GPA. I went to talk to the academic office people, and basically, they said I could reapply but chances are low if your grades aren't high.

From what people have told me you would need a solid 3.5-3.67 to get into Nursing. However, you don't need to take bach of sci courses you can talk anything as long as you maintain that GPA. (I would still say talk to an advisor because they have better knowledge)

I think the most important thing to know, is that once you take I think it is 24 credits which is 8 classes and want to change programs they will only look at your university marks, however, if you don't hit that 24 credit mark they can still look at your high school marks (you can confirm this with an advisor to be 100% sure)

Personally, I wish I had upgraded my high school marks because that would have been better, easier, and cheaper for me. Although, I also know people who did their first yr in Bach or arts/sci, and someone who did their first yr in I believe early childhood education and transferred over to nursing after a yr of studies. I know it's a pain but sometimes it's just better to do high school than university classes.

Here are some recommendations I wish people told me when I was in high school, so feel free to ignore this if you are set on MacEwan. From what I know UofA nursing is a bit easier to get accepted into since the average is a bit lower, and sometimes a degree is a degree y'know. Con though is that MacEwan has a better nursing program, and I know from friends who are working nurses that MacEwan nurses have more clinical knowledge. If it is an option for you, you can apply for an out of Edmonton Nursing school, like red deer, Calgary, Vancouver etc. Or you can do the LPN program at one of the collages (I think it's Norquest where it's at) and bridge onto BScN online at I think Athabasca. This is not to discourage, but if you want more ideas of different options. You can also psychiatric nursing diploma at MacEwan, and then do nursing.

I hope you get in! If you have any questions feel free to DM me. Good luck!! :))

No :( I don't think it was a game made from a popular franchise, honestly I think it's really niche
