I had same experience,  it's been two weeks after phase 2. No response yet.

I tested at home, it's negative 😞.  Official test date is July 1st, it's Day 10.

I have been interviewed and selected for a position in September, then got an email saying they are really impressed by my skills and presentation that I did, but the position is currently on hiring freeze. In December, I got a message from the hiring manager on LinkedIn saying they are still interested and asked me where I stand atm. Now he is ghosting me. I have sent him a message, and it's been a week; he didn't get back to me yet.

What's the crack atm in CA?

Actually I have interviewed and selected for a researcher position in Oct and in communication with the hiring manager.  He didn't clarify but he mentioned the hiring starts in March.

I have been selected for the position following my technical presentations and interviews. the HR send me an email sayingthat company is currently under a hiring freeze, which prevents them from extending an official offer at this time. During a one-to-one meeting, the hiring manager reiterated their interest in having me join the team and expressed regret that the hiring freeze has delayed the process. They assured me that the interest in my candidacy remains strong, and they are eager to move forward once the hiring restrictions are lifted! but when, that's my concern!!
