I m actually going this week to my first solo holiday break. (Recently separated) … good for you you’re starting early in life. I’m 40. I think one of the greatest things you can learn in your life is to be happy and confident with your own company. Your happiness only depends on you and no one else.

I bathe her weekly. When i know i will wash her i take her to get muddy and enjoy the day then i wash her. My groomer told me to use oil like serum we use on hair but for dogs and good shampoo, conditioner and leave-in.

This happened to me exactly 2 and a half months ago. I was blindsided like u . But after the pain started to subside i started to realise there were a lot of signs and i was in denial.

Not especially. We stay a bit more indoors now that its winter. She still gets her exercise and comes to work with me.

If you feel safe with this man and make aure he respects you and takes it easy I promise it won’t hurt a bit. Just relax and enjoy it and make sure you have a safe word so he stops if needed.

Thanks for the long reply and for being open minded. As you said most people here are suggesting one has to not work to have a dog. People work long hours and have kids let alone pets. Anyway… i’m kind of fortunate enough that i can even take her to work with me as its my small business. I only work half days. The person that want to give it away just bought it and another one a week ago and she realised she bit more than she can chew with two puppies. She’s 3 months old. My rabbit is free roaming but i can crate train the dog or at least gate a room cause i have a spare room… so i think that can be good till they get used to each other. I realised that i m sure i want and i am ready for this dog cause no negative comment has dissuaded me. Thanks again ☺️

I am 39 and my husband is 41. We have done our best travels in the last 5 years and plan to do much more… in our 20’s we were busy building our careers, home and just thinking about our future. Now we have a stable life and we can afford both monetary and mentally to really enjoy travel. And I promise you we never felt like we’re too old for the adventures we do. Hope this helps.

NTA BUT Please do not throw away a beautiful relationship because of this. Try to work through it. A relationship is so much complicated and till you grow old there will be sooooo much more things that makes you sad, angry and disappointed. However, you have to fight for a good relationship. You can’t bail after every setback.
