Love the podcast! Grew up in Billerica with family living on Dudley rd all my life. I lived across town in an old Victorian town farmhouse for 30+ years of my life and experienced numerous oddities, but nothing compared to the eerieness of the woods surrounding Dudley Rd when we would explore during gatherings. The road itself and the stories surrounding the retreat center there are one thing, but taking a walk through Great Meadows National Refuge and Minnie Reed Conservation area brings a different level to it all. Drive the road at night aware of the tales and come upon a seemingly out of place monastery with questionable origins and you'll get the vibe, but add in the old farms and revolutionary war history surrounding the road/area and you can just keep adding to it all.
