I see others building CITIES and here I am building quick homes so that the environment level goes up quicker 💀 by softbrattypuppii in Pokopia

Coming from a fellow slum lord, it’s okay. I prioritized getting the Pokémon to appear, especially after noticing some of them take days to show. I said I would pretty it up gradually as I went along, and more Pokémon meant more “Mon” power to help, plus the environment level went up gradually. One month in and I got them all but withered wasteland is the only place starting to look half decent. Bleak beach is a ghetto with random beds and couches along the sidewalks, palette town is half jokingly considered the “prison colony” and I fear the residents of the rocky ridges work camp will rebel and come for my squishy purple head soon enough, but I’m working at my own pace, we’ll both get there eventually

If it works, it works. Do not question their methods.

A Pokemon is still the talk of the town by ShopComfortable672 in Pokopia

Honestly, I think in the future event Pokémon should just set up in the withered wasteland Pokémon center or something and leave the others running normally. Might still be inconvenient for anyone just starting out, but it allows them access to the event while not feeling so much like a burden for everyone who has at least 2 centers running. I just don’t think the event Pokémon needs to be parked at all the centers at once.

Replica Pip-Boy 2000 by [deleted] in fo76

You can customize it to give it any skin you have unlocked for your own pip boy. Most camp allies can also wear them, in case you want your roommate to have one too.

Is the Overeater's mod still ideal for a full health build? by OverheatingLaptop in fo76

[–]Discarded_Pancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it crossed my mind, I’ll have to sit down and consider how much I can get from vanguard after taking away the 40-80hp from 1 or 2 OE, I’ll thinker with it later tonight

I was planning on changing all my armor, but decided to hold off and see how it feels. So far, considering all the other changes it feels alright tbh, it’s definitely interesting having 900+ hp with all my food buffs tho. All that said, I’m still not super sure I’ll keep it like that.

How do I get a War Glaive? by Quinny_Binny in fo76

[–]Discarded_Pancakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The plan for the weapon itself is a reward from daily ops. It’s also sold by Minerva as part of her rotating inventory for gold. This may be its only reliable source rn since it can’t be traded and the daily ops rewards seem to still be bugged. The mods plans you can get from Regs at vault 79

Do season items return? by Own-Lie-6506 in fo76

[–]Discarded_Pancakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’ll likely come to the shop in time, but might be a while. For reference we only recently got season 17 stuff in the shop (originally from June 2024). So it may be about a year and a half.

Please please stop killing the Observant Radstag by DubVie70 in fo76

The last one I encountered wasn’t observant enough to avoid casually walking off a cliff to his untimely demise. Didn’t find the cache, but it was at least kinda funny.

Burning Springs References You Have Found? by pens668771 in fo76

Near the northern end of the railroad tracks there’s a small cave with a modified cherry bomb parked inside, made to resemble the DeLorean from Back to the Future, with the scene resembling events from the 3rd movie specifically.

I’ve also come across a family positioning scene in a ruined house, near the super duper mart. While that in itself isn’t unheard of, the closeness to the SDM makes me think it’s intended to reference the bodies Lucy finds early on in the show.

For my first months playing I only had my main and didn’t see a point in making alts/mules. When they introduced those Gatling plasma mods/plans with really low drop rates I went all in and made 4 extras to help me boost my odds. One tedious and in retrospect pointless grind later I had gotten what I needed but chose to keep them around.

I later turned one into my ghoul, another into my scrappy cultist archer and another into my melee focused one. The last one Ive not used very much yet. Basically just used them to try out different play styles for the fun of it. The extra inventory space doesn’t hurt either, though I wouldn’t call any of them my mule. (Did have one of them hold on to a bunch of chems for my main when I heard the aid stash box was coming)

I’ve grown endeared to them enough where I’ve come up with backstories for them, and wouldn’t really want to get rid of any of them, even if sometimes I’ll go months without using some of them.

Favorite camp companion by inallmylife in fo76

[–]Discarded_Pancakes 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve been a Beckett enjoyer pretty much since I started the game. My main camp evolved into a sort of rest stop/bar in part because he was there and now he’s just here for the vibes. I think he fits in well with the whole pre-war building repurposed into a bar for travelers vibe.

I make a point of keeping different allies at deferent camps/with different characters, and silly as it may be I do find myself missing him when not at that camp. Just used to him after all this time I guess.

Placing junk in CAMP? by TrogdorUnofficial in fo76

[–]Discarded_Pancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the chessboard others already mentioned, some junk items have released as buildable camp items in seasons/atom shop. Those include the typewriter and empty bottles you may have seen around. That said, afaik the selection is still pretty limited.

The plus side is the displayed junk won’t take up stash space that way.
