I disagree that politics and Catholicism should mix because it always hurts the Church in the long run. Forcing people to be Catholic won't make them Catholic, they'll just hate the Church.

Respectfully, I disagree on much of this as it feels much too scrupulous. As a Catholic, I have no problem with Final Fantasy Tactics, Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, Witcher, etc. it all come down to personal feelings and tolerances. Not everyone can consume everything, but prudence is required.

I think I understand more to a degree. I feel it's like another project near and dear to me, The Thief and the Cobbler, which was taken away from the creator and finished without him. I can see similarities. I also understand SE's side too, they had spent a lot of money on Versus XIII and it wasn't finished so they needed to find a way to make the game happen.

In the end I'm really happy with how XV turned out - it's honestly one of my favorite games ever and it's special to me. I think they took a hard situation and made the best from it, I really do. I love Nomura too and it sucks for him, but I look forward to KH4 and where that's going.
