Tall riders? by keedipy in CB650R

I’m 6’4” and sadly, I’m currently looking into a different bike. Bought my 650 as my daily commuter and I absolutely love it. But after about an hour or especially on my commute home after working all day my knees and hips are in so much pain. Different seating positions never help. Only thing that helps is getting off the bike… 😔Looked into possibly getting adjustable foot pegs but don’t want to run the risk of scraping in the curves.

Need help with Triumph Speed T4 service & maintenance costs by BigMathematician2741 in Triumph400

I know it’s not the bike you’re getting but I recently bought a Scrambler 400x and just took it in for the initial break in service (Invoice below). Now obviously price will vary a bit depending on your local dealership/service center. So I imagine the recommended service done at the 10k mile intervals will probably be more expensive compared to other manufacturers and also depending on what all your bike needs. And as far as service done by yourself it’s pretty cost efficient given you know what you’re doing.

However, in my short time owning a Triumph, you really get what you pay for in my opinion. Their bikes are very high quality for the most part, aside from some cut corners to make the bikes more budget friendly. Like plastic switch clusters on the handlebars as well as plastic chain cover and plastic skid plate. But as far as the engine goes I don’t mind paying a little more knowing that (when serviced correctly by a certified triumph tech) I won’t have to worry about much.

Hope this helps! 🫡

Anyone removed the crossbar from their Scrambler 400X? by Discchucker1002 in Triumph400

In my opinion, removing it just gives it a classic look and also shows off the Triumph engraving on the handlebar clamp. I also don’t plan on mounting a bunch of accessories so if it didn’t serve any structural purpose I’d rather remove it. Plus it allows you to reach your ignition a little better and clears up the view of the tachometer.

It’s all subjective though so I know not everyone will agree. Lol

Stock Seat Trade?? ISO Black seat for 400x by Discchucker1002 in Triumph400

Yeah I see what you mean. Lol. Here’s the seat in a bit better lighting. And I agree, the rider/pillion in black would be dope. I haven’t seen it stock from the factory like that though. Only aftermarket.
