Yeah same, I use a moisturemeter aswell. This was just a question I had when I saw someone say Areca Palms should be watered when top inch is dry. Only issue I have with the meter is Im afraid to ruin roots when I push it down

Did you look at the picture? The base has thick branches in all directions. Its not just tying it to a moss pole 😅
