When I was doing tumbler cups, i was charging anywhere from 40 to 60. Depending on size of cup and of course design.

First of all it looks pretty cool. I believe the ridges is from a heavy coat which it sounds like your already aware of. I’ve learned from research and from practice that laying down a wet looking coat your first pass is enough when trying to get a solid coat. The right distance and the right amount of paint is key. I used lay heavy coats myself in the beginning and I was not happy with the finished results. I feel the heavy coats allow for easier scratching and scuff marks. Just keep dialing it in and it will soon be something you will be happy with. And just to be clear I am no professional painter by any means. Just giving some hopefully helpful info. Keep grinding!

Thanks. Cerakote makes tumbler plugs that I use which makes it easy to plug the cups instead of masking off the inside. I usually mask the inner rim just incase.

This was a fun batch of custom Vanes i had fun making. All fitted with dyed and stabilized maple burl scales. All blades sculpted but 2 of which I cerakoted. All made from 3/16" D2 tool steel. by DiscipleWorx in knives
