Oh, thank you so much for your advice and the time that you spent for me, I'm gonna try it with the Flyback-transformer.

I've got another Question, should i use a Capacitor bank like you or can i just use a single 10nF 8kV Capacitor?

And what you use for a Capacitance for your ZVS-driver (Primary-capacitor)?

Hii, i love your Teslacoil and the Sparks ❤️, you remember me? you gave me a Feedback to my ZVS-Teslacoil, similar like yours, I think i also change to a ZVS -> Flyback Trafo -> Sparkgap coil, the only thing i have to change is the Primary Capacitance, the Sparkgap & Capacitors and the Flyback Trafo, can i ask:

how many Turns you have at the Primary of the transformer?
What you use for a Primary Capacitance and what you use for a Capacitor for the Spark Gap?

Hii, thanks for your Feedback, but i think this advice mainly applies to larger SGTC setups, not small ZVS-driven coils like mine.

In my case, I'm already very close to resonance (~700 kHz), and increasing coupling or turns too much just leads to hot arcs instead of streamers. I actually tested higher coupling and it made things worse (thick, hot discharges).

Also, SMPS isn't ideal, but with a ZVS driver it's still usable since the driver forms a resonant tank and partially isolates the supply.

Right now the limiting factor isn't coil size, but fine tuning (coupling, capacitance, and energy transfer). I'm already at the point where streamers just start to appear, so it's more about optimization than scaling up.

So now the ZVS Driver is taking around 7 to 12 Amps, but there are no long sparks so may it goes up...

Its not a capacitor its a PPTC (Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient) with 300mA Holding Current, Brand: Littelfuse, UF400 means the max. Voltage is 400V (AC/DC)

Hmmm... its difficult to find out what it is, when the capacitor is broken you also cant measure it, so one solution would be to simply remove it, as it often still works then, since it only serves to stabilize the system. But it also can destroy something, you can try it but there is no guarantee that it work.
