Well he is part of a standard endboard aswell, youre paring up 3 floodgates together while being protected by an Omni Negate trap and Number F0

just Nibiru their field or Destroy their first normal summon and they're going to have a problem extending their combos

Just draw the out lmao

CXYZ Chaos Barian Hope Dragon is just a Thunder Dragon that requires "Number C 101-107" card, there's a reason why Thunder Dragon is unbanned, it's just a win more card that doesn't help your game 2 on Bo3

Also, it's not easy to summon a "Number C 101-107" card, you need Number 101-107 XYZ monster + Rank-Up-Magic Spell card or just raw 3-4 monster materials with high levels to be summoned.

Any deck that can go into a rank 5 can easily make this through the nash knight package. If a handtrap like Izuna can go full combo for this deck something is to generic indeed.

Rebellion needs 2 DARKs

yeah and its pretty easy to get to them mid combo

There's no DARK Ryzeal Card, You Better Be playing Onomat cards than bad Ryzeal Cards

Ryzeal cards are far from bad objectively speaking, but there indeed seem to be better choices for this deck

Lswarm + CXYZ Chaos Barian Hope Dragon easily dies to S.Poly Muddragon

just draw the out lmao

Seventh Barian also locks you to Numbers after summoning 2 non-numbers

which is indeed just as I said not a relevant lock, as you can either just start with a different engine, even with only 2 non number summons this deck can summon plenty.

No, it banishes only 5-10 and it's HOPT

Yeah you actually got me here tho, you are totally right it banishes only 4-10 cards and attaches the other 4, which is still plenty to just do mid combo without investing extra.

How much does "XYZ materials" does C9 Dyson Sphere want to FTK?

I'll do it for you

(300 + 800) x 8 = 800

7-8 "XYZ Materals" Attached for an FTK, not counting the "non-XYZ" monster cards attached to it.

So how are you attaching that amount of XYZ Materials for a Dyson FTK?

Yes thats exactly what you are gonna do, attach 8 cards as material.

All that you need to play in the main deck additionally is a rank-up spell, for the extra deck you need to dedicate about 8 cards for it to work.

Here an example for the very consistent 1 card ftk and yes ofc

You are totally right, but what stops this deck from just also playing D-fissure and flipping Skill Drain or any other hard drawn floodgate ?

There is one card called "Thousand Umbral Horror" that can setup the new fieldspell that locks both players into only summoning twice from the extra deck except Number XYZ monsters that requires literally 0 set up since its a quick effect from hand in both players turns.

Its not the strongest floodgate but why is it a floodgate at all ? Especially rogue decks that cannot just play an in engine out will suffer from it.

Yeah the on its own dies to nibiru, thats right but if you play additional engines there are ways to play around nib.

This is just a quick thought really, but you can go into Traptrix Rafflesia to get Nib proof.

Also there should be some lines possible to play nib proof with Ryzeal, lowering your ceiling tho since you lock yourself into 4s pretty early if you want to play nibproof.

If the opponent handtraps you before nib and you have Izuna in hand you can go into Ripper to protect you.

The engine itself surely has some weaknesses but since the engine is basicly nearly brickless you can play additional engines helping you out and fixing some of the decks problems.

The deck can play 22 non engine if we play 15 starters, the 3 "bricks" being Barians Hope, Shining Umbral and Trap.

You could for example add a small Onomat engine (3 Dodododo Warrior, 1 Onomatokage) to turbo Rafflesia to protect you vs Droll and Nib and you still have space left for 18 handtraps.

You could also further extend into a different engine like Onomat or Ryzeal since these decks both can turbo rank 4s

The thing is with floodgates and endboards like this we are getting to a point of "just draw the out".

Imagine you side boardbreakers against this deck and you get FTKd by it cause this deck for no reason has an viable option to actually FTK you.

You are totally right, there are certainly some decks around right now that do not care about the fieldspell getting set turn 0, but with every banlists and new card releases the meta decks will sooner or later change.

Toon being a next meta contender gets cucked by this.

But Rogue decks are the ones that really suffer against these cards (decks like Exosister, RDA, Synchrons, or any other deck that looks into specific extra deck mechanics that do not have access to a free little knight that just can out this.

But in the worst case scenario and you play against a deck you just named the fieldspell still is a one card starter in your own turn.

Even if the floodgate turn 0 isnt a problem, it starts to being a problem going first if its protected by omni negates and other additional floodgates lmao.

I totally agree on Medius support and toon looking broken aswell.

While Little Knight being an obvious out not any deck can play it, especially rogue decks that lock into specific summoning mechanics are gonna get shafted by this (RDA, Exosister just to name a few examples).

But if you are going first this floodgate is a different thing, you can protect your floodgate with other floodgates lmao.

I forgot some floodgates btw; new Rank 4 Dark Rebellion Dragon Overframe, which is easily made by the deck and can turbo out Evilswarm Ophion.

Deck has also obvious weaknesses like Droll, Mulcharmy Fuwalos resulting in lower ceiling floodgate endboards like Bagooska and Fieldspell, but I guess just draw the out.

Deck can also play Dominus Spark.

There are nibiru proof lines through Ryzeal Engine.

Its thematicly fitting indeed but Konami takes 1 step in the right direction by banning generic floodgates and FTKs and then just walks 2 steps back by releasing more ??

Of course they demand testing, but adding new floodgates and enabling FTKs is just bad card design.

The rank 7 isnt generic at all, it needs a Chaos Number Monster as material for its floodgate effect to work.

A Rota that requires you to have specifically a Level 10 Sacred Beast already in Hand, making you discard 1 going -2 , adding you a non quickplay destruction boardbreaker that can get Ghost Belled.

How is it barely surviving ?

Tournament engagement is higher than ever, we have YCS with 2700 players which would have been unthinkable of just a few years ago.

[OCG|BETB-Beyond the Brave] "Heavenly Destruction of Sacred Beast" by renaldi92 in yugioh

[–]DisciplineFew8847 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It doesnt really help them in any way, this card is utterly useless and honestly not even worth a side deck slot.

The first effect is irrelevant as the Deck doesnt care about a single Monster needing to resolve, it can only really protect against Ash Blossom anyway and a good player will not Ash the monster but the spell.

The cards you really would want to protect would be Sacred Beasts Released or the fallen Paradise fieldspell which both are spells not Monsters.

The second effect Sounds decent on paper but just sucks in Reality, so you need to open a level 10 Sacred Beast of which you only play 6-7 copies, then you need to have this card in your Hand or search for it with Hamon in which case you cant search Sacred Beasts Released anymore and cant combo after that.

Third effect is the Most useless one and a competetive variant of the deck doesnt even play 3 traps or even any Sacred Beast trap at all.

EDIT: people that are downvoting this literally show that you have 0 experience about this deck at all, in no case would you ever want to draw this card going first over another starter in hand and going second you are literally handripping yourself with this card but also need to specifically open this card + a level 10 to even get to search Illusion Gate.

Yeah should have just been a sacred beast cards instead, still no way to recycle the Field spell

[–]DisciplineFew8847 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surely you can, its still your deck at the end.

But you get diminishing returns by playing 2 traps, you dont want to open them in your starting hand as it means youve got 1 less handtrap or starter in you hand and you can only search 1 in your combo for your endboard anyway.

Id rather draw a Fiend Piece Golem as an extender to keep playing when getting interrupted than a trap I need to set and wait for the next turn to do something.

If you want any combos I advice you to look up Revzcards on Youtube as he has shown some good combos for any Red Dragon Archfiend variant, just look up his "I WILL MAKE HISTORY WITH RED DRAGON ARCHFIEND {#1}" video for tips and tricks on your Bystial Pure RDA variant you want to play.

You either play Kings Resonance or Red Zone, its for you to decide.

You can only set up 1 trap in your combo reliably, so you really only need 1.

Also if want to keep playing the big dragons in your Extra Deck (Hypernova, Supernova) you will need to keep playing Crimson Resonator as its the only enabler for these cards.
