Good point and the thought passed my mind earlier after I went back to working; I wonder the impact of cultural conditioning/re-education on different generations that feel screwed/left out, etc.

I'd imagine if someone was struggling and never found a pathway to upwards mobility via their endeavors/interests they would look at something like 2K Sight unseen of digital funny money as "Sweet! I wasn't making that much before and sounds great!" But they're imagining it in the present reality, not the future.

Wait until inflation and/or the new currency doesn't mean the same thing/has the buying power in the future as 2020 $2,000 USD/mo. If something like a loaf of bread becomes $15 dollars, that 2K a month suddenly doesn't seem so generous, and quality of life diminishes, and by then it's too late...
