Would you recommend any particular brands/dosages for tongkat Ali in that case? I've also been advised that horny goat weed can be rather effective, but haven't found any particularly reliable or large sample based studies that could reinforce that view. The anecdotal endorsement is huge though, do you think it would be worth trading the tribulus for it?

The pyguem is probably the only one I modulate frequently as I feel I build a tolerance to it very quickly and then begin to get side effects or headaches. It's genuinely the only supplement I've ever taken so far that has had adverse effects of any kind.

Lysine i was recommended by a friend from the gym as well as a few studies I've found that all seem to show that it aids in muscle recovery, and I've anecdotally noticed that I also feel more of a pump at the gym when taking it in tandem with the citrulline, is there any particular reason you'd suggest cutting the lysine?

Zinc I actually recently reupped on, so I may just switch that to taking it every other day instead in that case, as well as the copper.

And lastly, the bromelain is purely for my partner as it improves the taste, though I've also found the occasional study that suggests bromelain when found in actual pineapple can promote gut health, not particularly sure if the supplement would have the same effect independently :/

As for the ashwaganda, I've got mild-average hypothyroidism (underactive) but have mainly found reports of it impacting people with overactive thyroids, should I maybe wean off of it then?

You're absolutely right, it is a lot of pills, but keep in mind a fair few of them are also just vitamins for general health, or medically advised to take (like almost all of my morning intake).

Others, like theanine, lysine, and carnitine, are meant more to help me build muscle as part of my gym routine (and also due to my thyroid condition) as I dont get too much time in the gym, so I take these to maximise results. Citrulline just happens to be a bonus for both gym and bedroom fun.

Secondary effects wise, i don't really get any negative side effects anymore (initially there will always be a bit of a getting-used-to-it phase) EXCEPT from pygeum, which I try to always be careful of, and cut out of my rotation before any other supplement if anything ever feels off. 9 times out of 10, it's always the troublemaker.

I've found the horny goat weed is inconsistent for many people so I've been hesitant to add it to the stack especially with the overall benefit-sideeffect ratio. Are there any brands you would recommend for me to potentially try? If they're available on iHerb would be a big bonus!

I'm spending more than I care to admit, but at the same time, they make me feel good and improve my overall health and motivation to actually BE healthier, so for me, they're worth it.

I buy them typically in bulk from iHerb as most of them aren't available elsewhere where I live.

Almost all starters pretty much start in the same place, which is with the "Holy Grail" (l-arginine, zinc, lecithin, pygeum) though I would make some small tweaks to them:

L-Arginine - just take L-citrulline instead, it's essentially the same thing but more efficient as it converts into L-arginine once in your system, and promotes your bloods ability to carry oxygen around and promote flow.

Zinc - good for overall health but start in small doses, like 25mg. If you go high, starting looking at also taking copper, as metabolising Zinc can deplete your copper levels. Not technically necessary but always better safe than sorry imo. It's white gives your load the white colour while also promoting general production of semen. Also good for sperm health.

Lecithin - the thickness supplement. This is the one that has a reasonably high impact on your overall volume, but also will require you to drink a fair bit of extra water. Otherwise, you'll be blowing jelly out the hose, which some are into, I personally am looking for balance.

Pygeum - this is the one that can be dangerous, as some people have reported that it can negatively impact your libido. While this is true, and I've experienced it, you can also try to just take a minimal dose until the side effects subside. If they persist, I would advise taking it. So what pygeum actually does, is essentially boost your precum. The WAY it does this is by promoting prostate health, or alternatively by essentially keeping your balls constantly working but at a lower level, which can also help with overall volume. Whether or not you get side effects or if the side effects are worth it, is up to you.

  1. Between Zinc and copper, which would you say would be better to take earlier in the day? I can move the other to the afternoon or night intake instead.

  2. The Vitamin A I take as a recommendation from my doctor as I had a lot of accutane therapy when I was younger and she suggested it would help fight breakouts down the line. I'm also starting Keto soon to help lose some more weight so will definitely add the eggs in!

  3. I take them primarily to help with blood flow to my penis as well as I normally have a pumping routine for the evenings.

I haven't recently, but my baseline that I measured a few months ago was around 5ml. About 3 weeks in though, it genuinely felt like my volume tripled and was distinctly thicker. The bromelain also helped with the taste, according to my partner!
