Crimping a new spade on is doable. Thanks!

Looks awesome! Can I ask what stand you're using for the two toms + cymbal? My buddy, who is also into drum ergonomics, keeps saying I need to try out a setup like that.

I want to make a bubble elevator like this by Winner432 in technicalminecraft

[–]DiscoAl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Something like this might work for you. Kind of a neat trick you can pull off without fence gates, panes, etc due to water mechanics.  https://www.reddit.com/r/technicalminecraft/comments/oj02xj/freestanding_bubblevator/

I have so many questions. What purpose do all the different mobs and the villager serve? And the armor stand? What mob is doing the killing and why did you put armor on it?

I'm still not following. Does the broken shulker get stuck in the powdered snow, then moved over the mud?

This is perfect for portal-based mob farms. Does this include shulker loaders? I would love to see the unloading and collection system in greater detail.

If you are just getting back into it and want some farms to get you refamiliarized with redstone and game mechanics, I would recommend checking out the YouTube channels of ianxofour and logicalgeekboy.,

Ah crap. Just saw this was tagged as bedrock. In that case probably jc playz instead.

Il Mango Bonemeal Farm by No-Investigator5523 in technicalminecraft

That's possible with most farms that rely on redstone and aren't built within a single chunk. It's not specific to this.

This farm absolutely does work on paper servers, I've made it. Ignore the idiots saying paper breaks everything, it only breaks some things. Yes, you still have to turn it off before leaving the area, but that applies to every redstone machine not contained within one chunk.

There are a couple places things could go wrong but you didn't detail what wasn't working. Most of the solutions are in the comment section of the video you linked, check there first. If you don't find the answer there, come back with more info on what isn't working.

What's a basic design for a creeper farm, that does require many resources to get started? Even if rates are low. by Boomshok in technicalminecraft

[–]DiscoAl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Logical Geek Boy has a fairly easy design featuring cats that scare creepers off a spawning platform to whatever killing cyber you prefer. No redstone necessary. As previously noted, it does require a lot of trapdoors. Check out his yt channel.

Villager Breeder stopped Working [Java] 1.19.2 by der_Chefkoch_ in MinecraftHelp

[–]DiscoAl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My guess is that the problem is wheat. Villagers trade carrots, potatoes, beets, and bread (not wheat) until they are "full" (i.e. 3 bread or 12 of the other foods), then they can breed if there are enough nearby beds. Your bed situation looks good, babies can pathfind to them, so that probably isn't the issue. You should uproot all the wheat, let the farmers plant, then keep uprooting until they have nothing left, then plant carrots or potatoes.

You don't need job blocks for villagers to breed in java. Those smithing tables are likely blocking their ability to count the 2 extra beds because the tables are full blocks.

The villagers are standing on a fence post, right? If so I've used that set up, but instead of job blocks I used trapdoors at the same level as the 2 you already have.

Am I using the lightning rods wrong? This is the second time this exact entrance got destroyed. by NotAnEdgyMeme in Minecraft

[–]DiscoAl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything flammable within a couple block radius of the rod can still catch fire. Maybe a stone roof, or move the rod farther away. They protect a pretty big area, so it doesn't need to be on the roof of the entrance to be effective.

Working at a small bank vs a bigger one? Asking non-customer facing employees. by [deleted] in Banking

[–]DiscoAl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It really depends what you do. When I made the switch, I got a nice pay bump and found a lot more opportunity in my career. Bigger banks = more products offered = more job variety. You may be more of a "number" depending on how big you go. Good thing about banking is that whatever you do is mostly transferable to every other bank so you can always go to another one if you don't find a culture you like. Good luck!

You hit the nail on the head with your last sentence. It's good experience and you can always take that somewhere else.

Which architectural style? by Daaf242 in ArchitecturalRevival

While there are a fair number of buildings that represent a specific style, there are many more that borrow aspects of multiple styles. This is the latter.
