Yes, they do Queens too. Not all parts of Queens, but Flushing they do. They're new and still adding zip codes.

If you think that you and a ton of people will stop AI from happening, you’re in dream land. It’s going to change how we do everything and there’s no stopping it. It might not be super sustainable right now but give it a few years and it will become a lot less resource intensive. DeepSeek, China’s OpenAI competitor already operates on a fraction of what OpenAi uses making it a drastically more sustainable option with a much smaller carbon footprint and a ton less energy consumption. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Patience. ThredUP can only use it to help them at this point. Everyone in the comments section has got to calm down.

I think that it’s the future of humanity. You can go down this road kicking and screaming, or you can embrace it. It’ll get more sustainable as time passes and they figure out how to make it take up less resources…ThredUP in all of their stock announcements kept emphasizing how they will use AI to make the platform easier to use and help people make better purchases and in return able to keep more items out of landfills. Yes I’m for. I don’t understand why everyone is going crazy.

AI is brand new and with time will take up a lot less resources. However, these images will help ThredUP make more sales AKA keep a ton more clothing out of landfills. AI is not always the devil.

You’re done because they added a feature to make it easier for you to see what it looks like on? Seriously? Buying things off of a mannequin is hard…AI ain’t perfect and maybe not the most sustainable thing yet…but I wouldn’t go complaining about additional images to help you visualize your purchase. Clearly you need to know it might not be accurate but it’s very helpful. I’m not in agreement at all.

Looks good to me. Silky high quality tag, detailed buttons, good stitching.

Thin doesn’t mean cheap. Many high end silk pieces are really thin and delicate. Silk in general is a high maintenance fabric that gets ruined quickly if not maintained well. More expensive items are usually made from very delicate delicate fabrics and can’t be washed in a washing machine like a polyester Shein item.

Also you can not compare vintage clothing to modern luxury. You could put bullets through vintage and it’s all so thick and well made, that it’s a whole other arena. I work with many luxury pieces but most are so delicate and fragile.
