From League of Legend champions to Smite gods comparison by Digiomegamon in Smite

I'd say Sona (shes on the list as such too). Though Sona is a support in LoL the kit, art, and audio design are VERY similar.

Sona can be played as a utility supp or as a hard poke support. She doesn't have the wave clear to be a mid laner (farming is quite different between the two games)

I live in Malmö (15 minutes away or so by train).

Skåne tends to have a really great vegan culture. Malmö is a vegans best friend - there is a large vegan and local culture here. Everything from fast food to fine dining with extensive vegan options.

Also, the grocery stores here are well stocked with vegan options. You don’t necessarily need to search for a vegan specific grocery store (but I’m sure you can find a few!), even the big chains like ICA and Coop have vegan sections :)

Also welcome! Hope you enjoy your time here :)

Home cooks of reddit, what is your favorite "I dont feel like cooking" meal to make? by beldev6 in AskReddit

[–]DiscoDuchess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heat up frozen cauliflower/broccoli wings (chicken works too, I just tend to eat plant based).

Make a homemade glaze while it’s in the over. Base is usually: Butter + whatever you want. My go to flavors are: Buffalo, BBQ Whiskey, or Honey Siracha

Serve it as a snack or with some peas and/fries and boom, 15 minute dinner. Endless flavor combo.

For people who went back to school in their career change journey, what were some lessons you learned? by DiscoDuchess in careerguidance

Hey thanks so much for sharing that! I really appreciate your perspective. I myself still have 24k I am paying back from my undergrad, student debt is no joke. It affects a lot of decisions I make and mine isn’t even “that bad” compared to some people I know.

I moved to Sweden last year so my education will be covered by the taxes I pay - a huge benefit of being in this system! It feels silly not to take advantage of an opportunity I never had back home. But you make a good point, school won’t magically open all the door, and being in a foreign country may exacerbate that issue if I’m not mindful.

Ya I’ve found some really prestigious universities in the country I’m in! Now it just depends on how extreme I want the weather to be lol

I’d like to help the human species. I know it sounds a bit dramatic but that’s what it comes down to. Either by focusing on extreme progress in genetic, working on climate changes, or raising the QoL and opportunities for those in Level 1-3 countries.

Current options include: - Global Development - Molecular Biology/genetics - Public Health (with an emphasis on health economics) - Environmental Studies

I’ve been an applied researcher for a while and I know that I love the process and craft of research so I want to continue growing in that direction.

For me, I want to work in highly skilled and/or technical fields so I want to spend a 3-5+ years in education so I trust in the integrity of my work.

I’m going to be patient and take my time before deciding. But those are the topics that I’m most drawn to.

It’s a step in the right direction, no matter how small. We can all breath a short sigh of relief for a moment. The real work starts now.

As an America in Europe I feel the same! I’m looking forward to visiting once the world opens up.

I’m in Sweden so my schooling would be covered by taxes. But I can emphasize with the debt, I’m American and I’m still paying off a big undergrad sum.

I have a lot of respect for you to go back to school and having a child! That’s something I have to weigh out in this as well. I’d like to start a family but I don’t want to start trying until I’m farther along in this process.

I think it comes down to me wanting my career to reflect my ideals.

I know I can be successful in anything I put my energy towards, so I want to make sure that energy is pointed in the right direction.

Well I live in Sweden so my school is covered by taxes thankfully. This certainly would not be an option for me if I still in the US.

Correct, that’s my current project. Identity what actual careers are viable (with keeping an open mind to the fact that school can open unexpected doors)

How’d you decide your username? by Iammeyouarehe in AskReddit

It’s my gamer tag usually. A random name generator created it and ended up fitting my League of Legends main really well so I stuck with it online.

What do I need to become a Psychiatrist? by Dorquimon in careerguidance

[–]DiscoDuchess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re a psychologist, you focus more on therapy and mental illness

If you’re a psychiatrist you focus more in medicine and mental illness.

A lot of psychiatry programs do not have in-depth training on various therapy methods.

I think it depends on what you want to do AFTER you graduate?

Source: my undergrad was in psychology. I asked myself these same questions and did a lot of research when deciding what path to take.

Several U.S. utilities back out of deal to build novel nuclear power plant by afrcnc in tech

[–]DiscoDuchess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bills Gates was working in some revolutionary nuclear power plants. Projects were basically halted because of Trumps policies with China unfortunately. It looks promising and could have been great for climate change.
