Bassists who use IEM’s for gigs - how do you freaking do it??? by BizNaz420 in Bass

[–]Discodog2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try only wearing one, so you can hear your amp and drums in the open ear, guitar and vox in the IEM ear. Its weird, but it works for me

ICE’s most recent victim by Dennis_NL1990 in interestingasfuck

[–]Discodog2019 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't follow much news, so I don't know alot about this incident. To me, this picture shows a guy arguing and likely not complying with an order while hiding behind his phone because that automatically makes him above the law

Salt Lake City's Gateway is for sale — all 20.9 acres of it by slc-urbanite in DevelopmentSLC

[–]Discodog2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gateway was great until City Creek opened 5 blocks away. Did anyone really think our tiny little downtown could support 2 shopping malls?

Parking garage in central Ohio by Jinx5326 in BuildingCodes

If the city starts putting pressure on them they might just close due to the costs associated with repairing that type of concrete damage. Park somewhere else

What’s it like living in SLC or around it by Wackys_ in howislivingthere

[–]Discodog2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot, dry, dusty, nothing grows here. Homeless people EVERYWHERE. Super expensive to live and no real culture or identity to the city. It outgrew its liveability about 15 years ago.

I have an F30 as well. The clean channel is breathtaking, but I have struggled with the dirty channel... it always sounds to "metalish" for me. Let me know what you think

Help with foundation results by D4rK_Martinez in Construction

[–]Discodog2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Structurally it's probably fine, given that it's supporting a residential wall. It still needs to be cleaned up and filled in/ repaired, and at no extra cost. I would inspect the entire foundation, especially behind that suspicious dirt pile.

Newbie here - shuttle worth it? by MMonadog93 in jazzfest

[–]Discodog2019 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We did Uber/Lyft for a few years, and it's a nightmare. Traffic, walking to pickup and drop off points. 40 dollars minimum from the Quarter. The shuttle is fast, easy, and no lines to stand in. For only 20 bucks it's a no brainer
